1. Tim Howan – known for it’s Best Dimsums & Porkbuns! It holds the title as “the world’s cheapest Michelin-star restaurant”, originating from Hongkong. It has been expanding its chain of restaurants to more than 12 countries since its launched last 2009.

What we ate ? 

 Porkbuns, Fried Rice,Siomai and Springrolls

2. Din Tai Fung – a world-renowned Chinese restaurant originating in Taiwan that specializes in soup dumplings and noodles.

Din Tai Fung is also best known internationally for its paper-thin wrapped xiaolongbao with 18 folds. The New York Times named it one of the top ten restaurants in the world in 1993.Another Michelin-star restaurant! Indeed , it is ! It took us more than an hour just to get a seat available for us to dine in! 😩

Pork Fillet Egg FriedRice & Xiaolong Bao!

3. Rilakkuma Cafe’– is the cutest pop up character cafe’ in Da’an district Taipei city! If you fancy cute food, well definitely you must try their food and enjoy guiltlessly eating these cute food characters originally from Japan!

Among the food that we ate, my fave was the beef noodles from Taiwan and the siomai , and ofcourse the dimsums! Good thing that eventhough I’m back in Philippines,there are branches of Tim Howan & Din Tai Fung in Manila where I can order whenever I crave for their specialty menu.

Also I discovered something better especially in this pandemic era, where in I can order online for these kind of Taiwan cuisines or other Asian food like for the Taiwan beef noodles ,dimsums and siomai and that is from SiomaiKing. Their version of Siomai King Express Taiwan Beef Noodles is so delicious and comforting! It is a real authentic taste of Taiwan beef noodles! Also their Taiwan Mantho is a must try and so good especially paired with a condensed milk! It comes different flavors too!
