Dear Readers!, or shall I say, Dear Joe,”…This sounds familiar right?, especially to those who were a fan of this famous 15-minute counseling radio program Love Notes that was popular during the 1990s in the Philippines. Here, the DJ named Joe D’Mango read letters addressed to him and shared their life experiences, problems, and worries in life. Then, at the end of his radio program, he will play a relevant song and advise the letter sender.
You might think the owner of this cafe could be “DJ Joe” but sorry to disappoint you, he does not own this coffee shop. Although the concept was somewhat similar to letter writing, this unique cafe is a brainchild of the coffee franchise group that manages the Coffee Project and the Ruined Project? (which I already featured a few months ago) so iyou can expect another aesthetic coffee shop that is Instagramable snaps worthy and more!More because not only that you can enjoy the cozy-unique ambiance, you can also spend longer time comfortably in this cafe while scribbling your letters 😊✍️☕️ and while sipping a cup of coffee or juice!
Who is JOE?
According to Dear Joe’s creative marketing team, each one of us has
our own Joe. Joe is someone with whom we can share our life experiences, our happiness, our thoughts, our worries, or the emotions that we have. He is someone whom we can depend on, who will not judge you, is always available when needing help, someone who makes you smile, some you can live, laugh with together, and share even your burden in life. Joe can be your best friend, husband/wife, family or relatives, even an anonymous person, or a stranger, future husband/wife, to whom you would like to share your innermost thoughts, or write letters to or even just to yourself!🤷♀️
Aesthetic Interiors
Dear Joe’s Coffee & Juice theme is somewhat American-Retro style with earthly tones and lush greens from the decorative plants which covered every corner, thus adding a tropical-cozy vibe. There are lots of murals that you can see on the walls. Various seats are available, from
regular-level chairs or the high stools by the bar-top tables. Each table has a Dear Joe’s stationery set, wherein you can use to start writing your letters or short memos, and then you can drop it on the red Post/Mailbox.
For those who want the “alfresco” vibe, there are also some seats available outside of the shop.
All Around Food and Snacks
Dear Joe does not only serve coffee or juice, but they serve a lot of delicious food from their menu like breakfast or snacks, sandwiches, pastries, smoothies, and other meals such as pasta and at a reasonable price.
