Who would have thought that something ruined can turned out to be something beautiful?!
Having a positive mindset , turning and looking for good opportunity in every bad situation really pays off. Just like what the owner of this new cafe’ that openned last December 2020 along Crosswinds Drive, in Tagaytay City- named as Ruined Project?
Actually, it belongs to the same business group that runs the Coffee Project franchise that is already known and located mostly in the Metro! According to the owners (Villar’s), it was supposed to be their 50th branch of the Coffee Project to be launched in the hills of Tagaytay for a perfect ‘cafe & chill” vibe !, but then ,because of the pandemic situation , all their project plans were R-U-I-N-E-D ! thus ,they called it the RUINED PROJECT?
This coffee project concept and set up that was said as “ruined “created a great craze in Tagaytay as it become a haven for those who love to take snaps and post on instagrams or any of their other social media accounts because of its awesome aesthetics and unique cafe’ ambience!
As you enter the place you would immediately notice the unfinished building, there is no physical door, the ceilings are exposed and coarse concrete walls with the holes that supposedly set for windows. Fortunately ! ,thanks to the creativeness and innovative minds of the team, they made a magic out of that is so called ‘ruined”. Take a great look at the snaps below taken by my buddy Tiche!

As you can see from the photos , there’s the unfinished murals, the ceilings are decorated with live plants and you will be also relaxed by the picturesque view of the 35,000 pine trees and enjoy the breezy air of Tagaytay .

Their food is also commendable. They have a wide variety of food choices on their menu, other than the usual cafe’ pastries, they also serve brick-oven baked pizza, pasta and rice meals and desserts.

The good thing also about this cafe’ is that you can take along with you your little furball babies! Yes, Ruined Project? is a pet friendly place and also their interior setup was approved by the IATF. Seating arrangement or social distancing is being observed as well as wearing of facial shields and mask is required except when you are eating.
